Joint complaints, caused by normal wear or as a result of previous injury are not only painful but can also detrimentally influence the quality of life. A mussel meat of the selected species of New Zealand greenlip mussel are carefully dried and processed into powder to which originates from these special almost untouched aqua cultures. Continuous quality control ensures that only mussel concentrate is unburdened by harmful substances with its valuable contents is processed. The glycosamine obtained in this way comes under the amino sugars and as paraplastic substance which is found in the connective tissues and the cartridge of the human body. These serve to maintain the slideability of the joints and to protect the cartridge substance against decomposition. Moreover, the mussel concentrate provides the body with several non-saturated fatty acids which are necessary for healthy lipometabolism. Particularly suitable for:
